Voting isn’t just an expression of a democracy, but also of the idea that one is interested in participating in political activities through the election of a representative in whom they believe. Time and again voting has showed that people come together to elect and ensure that their future will be in safe hands, through the delegation of powers that their leader will exercise. However, the journey from electing to realize the potential of a leader has not always been smooth.
